Chris Hughes

Principal, Chief Operating Officer / Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Hughes has been with Axonic since its founding (2010), previously working with Clay DeGiacinto at Tower Research Capital. Appointed COO in 2019 and CCO in 2024, he oversees Axonic’s compliance program, operational processes, counterparty due diligence, valuation, and trade allocations, along with IT development, cybersecurity, and office management.

Prior to Axonic, Mr. Hughes was Operations Manager at Tower Research Capital, Head of Operations at Dynamic Credit Partners, and held roles at Nomura and Deutsche Bank. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Delaware.
